Negligent Security

Over the past 10 years, the attorneys at Connors & Connors, P.C. have defended close to 100 cases for Burns International Security services, Command Security, Pinkerton, Securitas and Wells Fargo Guard Services. Many cases involve claims in which the plaintiff alleges that a security officer failed to act to prevent an attack. In other cases, a security officer has allegedly caused injury to the plaintiff. Under either scenario, the defense of the plaintiff's claims rests upon legal defenses(i.e. third party beneficiary), factual defenses(i.e. self defense), and defenses provided by well regarded security experts. Our experience has exposed us to the difficulties associated with document production (i.e. contracts, post orders and incident reports) and producing witnesses from a transient job pool.

At Connors & Connors, P.C., we have been successful in resolving claims of negligent security to our clients satisfaction based upon early investigation, follow up with current and former employees, familiarity with training protocols, retention of qualified expert witnesses and persuasive legal argument.
